Remember last Tuesday when I did a surprise interview with Karilyn Bentley ? Well, today, I review her latest book, Devil Take Me . A demon attack… Reeling from a personal tragedy and abandoned by all she loves, the world's newest demon huntress, Gin Crawford, sinks into a deep despair. She’s forced back to reality by news of a large number of people committing suicide, all on the same night. Suspecting demon involvement, Gin must work with her sexy but estranged mentor Aidan Smythe to track who, or what, is behind the deaths. Leads to a new discovery… As they come closer to finding the culprit, they realize their employer, the Agency, is hiding its own secret, one which threatens Gin's very existence. New discoveries reveal that even those dedicated to eradicating evil can be bought. Can Gin and Smythe forgive each other and work together or will they fall under the demon's thrall? My Review! It's hard to review the fourth book of a series without gi...

Review of Demon Kissed, by Karilyn Bentley #UrbanFantasy #MondayBlogs

If you haven't figured it out yet, I'm a total fangirl of fellow TWRP author Karilyn Bentley. I was fortunate enough to beta read her newest release, DEMON KISSED, and although I love the version I read first, the finished product is even better! Blurb: Gin Crawford, the world’s latest demon huntress, has no time to mourn her dead lover as she’s called in to determine why a demon attack occurred at the local medical school. And not just any demon, but the one demon that gives her demon-killing bracelet the shivers. A dead professor, a lab full of missing anthrax, and a demon who turns good people into minions complicate her life. Can Gin and her mentor Aidan Smythe solve the mystery of the missing anthrax and the identity of the demon before someone else dies? My Thoughts: Full Disclosure: I'm not very good at writing reviews for books I inhale in one-sitting, and I hate revealing spoilers, so collecting my thoughts regarding this novel is difficult to say the lea...

I'd like to congratulate my friend and fellow TWRP author, Karilyn Bentley on her new release,  DEMON KISSED . Excerpt: The scent of sulfur hangs in the air like a demonic stink bomb. I want to slap a hand over my nose, but no one else seems affected by the stench. Must be a demon huntress thing. “ Justitian ,” Smythe mutters. “Not demon huntress.” “If you don’t like my new title, then stay out of my mind.” He glares. I swallow. Cross my arms. Refuse to...

Interview with Karilyn Bentley, Author of Demon Lore

Image
I'm SUPER DUPER excited to have Karilyn Bentley as a guest today on my blog. I recently DEVOURED the first book in her series - Demon Lore. (To read my review on Amazon, go here ). I can't wait for everyone else to read and enjoy it! The heroine was a perfect mix of sassy and flawed. JC: Can you tell us a little bit about yourself?  KB: I have a husband, two dogs, a handful of nieces and nephews and a salt water reef tank. Actually the reef tank is the Hubster's but I like to look it so that counts, right? I love Harry Potter and would give anything for a working wand that cleans the house with a wave. JC: What do you do when you are not writing?  KB: Reading or playing with our puppy JC: Oh, those cute puppies. Their little faces make you forgive them of the worst atrocities--namely destruction of shoes and cute jackets. Do you have a day job as well?  KB: Yes! I'm a clinical research coordinator at an oncology clinic (in layman's terms ...
